How can I get discovered?

My name is Kelsey Horch and I'm 16 years old. I live in Frederick Maryland, and I need to break out of here!! I have been doing music all my life, I can read music, and play the piano. I have an AMAZING voice, I really do. And I'm looking for a band!! But how do i do this? where can i audition to be a lead singer? record companies? anything at all?
