What Things Could I Do To Get Into A Centerpiece Business?

I dont have any friends or family getting married soon. Ive got all these ideas for centerpieces but I dont know if I should make samples and sell on ebay or etsy or if its better to advertise your service & let custom orders come to you or how much, etc.
