OMG. My mom's best friend lived in Eureka for a while. It is beauuuuuutiful. The further north you go in CA, of course, the more green and beautiful. If you can, go! It's a total change of scenery! They had horse-drawn carriages, old victorian mansions, beautiful scenery!!
