Why do liberals continuously evoke Europe as an ideal model for America to follow?

Europe sucks! Each European country has a host of unique problems and together the European community has not solved any of them but, in fact, created more. European socialism doesn't work any better than socialism anywhere else. Why do liberals in America want to emulate a m of people too stupid to bathe?
