Why is the Media geared towards TEENAGERS?

Young people are naive and easy to pander to, and they're more easily swayed by commercials than adults that have seen them all their lives. Plus, you get to dumb down everything below the adult level to talk to teenagers. I also think we have a child worship problem in this country, just like George Carlin said.
