What should I do about college?

I like to look at the positive side. For example, you are able to produce children. So, you got that out of the way. You have a beautiful daughter. Also, you have the sitter problem taken care of, thanks to mom's generosity. In addition, you are asking questions, which means that you are looking for solutions. This is a skill necessary to be successful in a career, no matter what choice you will make. I find that people who go into a career that interests them are more successful in that one particular career than people who do not look at the pros and cons of their career. Although you may have certain choices for a career right now, that doesn't necessarily mean that years from now it may be the same choise. I think that my recommendation in all of this is to look at your strenghts and weaknesses in academics. Get some kind of an essment on the skills that you are proficient in. For example, if you are a good writer, mathematician, etc., then you can talk to a counselor who can guide you in a good direction. Plan a short term goal and look at the long term effects. In reality, you are planning for you and your daughter. Picture you both in the future and where you are both going to be? Obviously you want to become independent and be able to provide for yourself and your daughter, so that would be a great example of a future goal. Wish you all the luck for you and your future.
